Drawing Day Thursday 20th September, 10am - 3pm Cost: £65
Join us at the studio to immerse yourself in a day of drawing. We will work from observation, practising scale, proportions and composition while using charcoal, graphite and pastels. This is a great way of developing skills and breathing some freedom into your work.
Painting with Brusho Friday 31st October, 10am - 3pm Cost: £65
If you have already tried Brusho, or even if you haven’t come across it yet, this is the course for you. You will experiment with this vibrant, colourful set of pigments to create bold and textural artwork – you will be hooked!
Painting on Plaster Thursday 13th November, 10am - 3pm Cost £65
This is a great day course for exploring a new surface for painting held at Heritage Gallery and Studios in Wells. In the vein of traditional frescos, we will be creating and using a plaster surface to paint with watercolour. The effects can be subtle but with great depth. We will experiment with applying and removing colour, carving into the surface and building texture.
Lino Printing Thursday 4th December 10am - 3pm Cost £65
Create your own lino block to print from during this course. This is the perfect day for learning a new skill or for developing existing knowledge. Lots of image sources, materials and a range of papers to print on – this one is great timing for all that potential printing you might like to do ready for Christmas!
